Module One Reflection Assignment

Instructions

In this course, you will complete one reflective journal for each module. Your journal entries will later inform and support the development of your final project. This assignment will be marked as “complete” once your journal has been successfully uploaded.

For this first journal, take time to thoughtfully reflect on the Course Overview, Module 1 Lessons, including the Module 1 learning resources. Drawing on these materials, respond to the following prompts:

  • What might motivate you to participate in a peer consultation group?
  • In what ways could you personally or professionally benefit from being part of a peer consultation group?
  • What would the ideal structure of a peer consultation group look like for you?
  • What do you believe the roles and responsibilities of group members should be in an effective peer consultation group?
  • What roles (e.g., facilitator, timekeeper, presenter, note-taker) might be important in your group, and how should they be assigned or rotated?
  • If you were to initiate a peer consultation group, where would you begin, and who would you invite to join?

Use this journal as an opportunity to connect course concepts with your own experiences, needs, and professional context.
